clothing
Children must have a clean change of clothes. Including underwear available at all times. Please provide comfortable play clothing that allows for freedom for movement and appropriate to the weather. All garments must have child's name on it to prevent loss.

attendance policy
Parents are financially responsible for days the child is not in attendance. There are no provisions for sick leave, holidays, or vacations. Our program expenditures are based on the number of children enrolled daily, as well as the child to adult ratio. Children who are enrolled part time are not permitted to change days from their regular days of attendance, unless special arrangements are made. Your child may not attend school on unscheduled days. A 30 day advanced notice in writing is required if you plan to change your child's schedule. A new financial agreement is required if space is available for a change. Changes of schedule (i.e., increasing or decreasing days) must be done in writing and will be granted only if space is available.

sing in/out procedure
Please sign your child in and out daily. This is mandatory not only by the school but it is also a state law. If your child will be picked up by someone other than the parents, please make sure that the name of the person you authorize to pick up your child appears or is listed in the Emergency Information Form. We also require an authorization letter signed by the parents if someone else has to pick up the child other than the parents or the person listed in the Emergency Information Form. We will require identification of the person picking up your child prior to releasing him/her to anyone even if his/her name appears in the Emergency Information Form, if the person's identity has not been verified yet. This procedure must be followed to ensure the safety and security of the children.

part time schedule
A child who is enrolled part time is not permitted to change days from their regular days of attendance, since our program expenditures are based on the number of children enrolled daily as well as the child to adult ratio. Accommodation will be made possible only if there is available space at the time of your request. Extra fee is charged depending on the length of time your child will spend at the program. Please inform the center director of your plan 2 days prior to bringing your child for extra days or hours.

tuition policy
Full month non-refundable tuition is due on the first day of each month. Tuition is considered late after the 5th day of the month; an additional $10.00 will be assessed for each day thereafter including weekends. After the second week, enrollment will be terminated.

returned check policy
BABY WORLD charges a $25.00 returned check fee. For two returned checks during the year, payment is required to be paid in cash or cashier's check.

late pick up fee
BABY WORLD is open at 7:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. please make sure your child is picked up on time. Parents should arrange to have their children picked up by 6:00 P.M. Late charge should be paid directly to the person on duty at the rate of $10.00 for each 5 minutes of tardiness.

termination procedures
A person may withdraw their child from the center by giving 30 days written notice. The program reserves the right to terminate a child's enrollment when tuition is not paid or when it is in the best interests of the children and staff. BABY WORLD will make every effort to assure that your child can adjust to the center's practices and policies. If the center's director determines that the child cannot adjust to the program, you will be notified to terminate the enrollment of your child after 30 days notice. Inability to follow center's policies and procedures may result in enrollment termination. Termination also occurs when the center cannot meet child's and parent's needs. Also, in the event the child's behavior is detrimental to the other children, the child will be removed or discharged from the program.
