attendance
policy
Parents are financially responsible for days the child
is not in attendance. There are no provisions for sick leave, holidays,
or vacations. Our program expenditures are based on the number of children
enrolled daily, as well as the child to adult ratio. Children who are
enrolled part time are not permitted to change days from their regular
days of attendance, unless special arrangements are made. Your child may
not attend school on unscheduled days. A 30 day advanced notice in writing
is required if you plan to change your child's schedule. A new financial
agreement is required if space is available for a change. Changes of schedule
(i.e., increasing or decreasing days) must be done in writing and will
be granted only if space is available.
sing
in/out procedure
Please
sign your child in and out daily. This is mandatory not only by the school
but it is also a state law. If your child will be picked up by someone
other than the parents, please make sure that the name of the person you
authorize to pick up your child appears or is listed in the Emergency Information
Form. We also require an authorization letter signed by the parents if
someone else has to pick up the child other than the parents or the person listed in the
Emergency Information Form. We will require identification of the person picking up your child
prior to releasing him/her to anyone even if his/her name appears in the
Emergency Information Form, if the person's identity has not been verified yet.
This procedure must be followed to ensure the safety and security
of the children.

of the children and staff. BABY WORLD

practices and policies. If the center's director determines that the child
cannot adjust to the program, you will be notified to terminate the enrollment
of your child after 30 days notice. Inability to follow center's policies
and procedures may result in enrollment termination. Termination also

the event the child's behavior is detrimental to the other children, the
child will be removed or discharged from the program.
