Admission Agreement
THE PROGRAM:Our goal is to provide educational and development services to children through love, respect, and understanding. We provides educational activities appropriate for children at each level. The toddler program provides preparation for entry into pre-school.
OPERATION:
The center provides a full day child care service for infants and toddlers age up to 3 years old.
The center opens from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.We provide both full time 5 days a week full day or part time programs of various options.
Parents must provide the main meals for infant and toddler; the center provides for snacks for the toddlers.
The staff is composed of a director, teachers and teacher’s aides.We maintain the ratio of 1:4 staff to child ratio for the infant program, and 1:4 to 1:6 ratio on the toddlers program.
LICENSE: We are licensed by the State Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Child Care.

UPDATES ON CHILD’S RECORDS: Parents are required to update admission forms with any changes, and take child to doctor each year for a physical. Allergies must be included on the health form.
OPEN DOOR POLICY: Parents are welcome to visit their child in school at anytime during the day, without prior announcement.Parents may observe their child during playtime, learning time, or at anytime during school hours.
Parents will also be given an internet web camera access to view the rooms their child is using, where web cameras are installed.
ATTENDANCE POLICY: Parents are financially responsible for days child is not in attendance. There are no provisions for sick leave, holidays, or vacations. Our program expenditures are based on the number of children enrolled daily, as well as the child to adult ratio. Children who are enrolled part time are not permitted to change days from their regular days of attendance, unless special arrangements are made. Your child may only attend school on scheduled days. A 30 day advanced notice in writing is required if you plan to change your child’s schedule. A new financial agreement is required if space is available for change. Changes of schedule (i.e., increasing or decreasing days) must be done in writing and will be granted only if space is available.
PART TIME SCHEDULE:A child who is enrolled part time is not permitted to change days from their regular days of attendance, since our program expenditures are based on the number of children enrolled daily as well as the child to adult ratio. Accomodation will be made possible only if there is available space at the time of your request. Extra fee is charged depending on the length of time your child will spend at the program. Please inform the center director of your plan 2 days prior to bringing your child for extra days or hours.
RIGHTS OF LICENSING AGENCY (CCCR, title 22, Section 101200)
The state of California General Licensing Requirements, SECTION 101195 states:
The Department or licensing agency shall have the authority to interview children or staff and to inspect and audit child or facility records without prior consent. The licensee shall make provisions for private interviews with any children or any staff member for the examination of all records relating to the operation of the facility. The licensing agency shall have the authority to observe the physical conditions, which indicate abuse, neglect, or inappropriate placement, and to have a licensed medical professional examine the child(ren).
TERMINATION: A parent may withdraw their child from the center by giving 30 days written notice. The program reserves the right to terminate a child’s enrollment when tuition is not paid or when it is in the best interests of the children and staff.Baby World will make every effort to assure that your child can adjust to the center’s practices and policies. If the center’s director determines that the child cannot adjust to the program, you will be notified to terminate the enrollment of your child after 30 days notice. Inability to follow center’s policies and procedures may result in enrollment termination.Termination also occurs when the center cannot meet child and parent’s needs.Also, in the event that child’s behavior is detrimental to the other children, the child will be removed or discharged from the program.
Baby World reserves the right to request withdrawal of a child for the following reasons:
1. Delinquency of payments.
2. Non-cooperation on the part of the child or the parents.
3. Inability to adjust to the rules or regulations by parent and/or child.
REGISTRATION:A registration fee of $150.00 is required to save a spot if enrolling earlier than start date, or at enrollment.
REFUND POLICY:For new parents only: if you cancel within the first five days of the starting date (in case of child’s inability to adjust), the remainder of the tuition fee paid upfront will be refunded on a prorated basis, less any expenses incurred. Registration fee is non-refundable.
TUITION:Full month deposit will be required upon enrollment into the program, which will be considered first month tuition.The tuition is due on the first day of each month. Tuition is considered late after the 5th day of the month. If payment is not made after this day, an additional $10.00 will be assessed for each day thereafter including weekends. After the second week, enrollment will be terminated.
RETURNED CHECK POLICY: Baby World charges a $25.00 returned check fee. For two returned checks during the year payment is required to be paid in cash or cashier’s check.
LATE PICK UP FEE:Please make sure your child is picked up on time. Parents should arrange to have their children picked up by 6:00 P.M. If a parent anticipates being late, they need to notify the center as soon as possible. Late charge should be paid directly to the person on duty at the rate of $1.00 for each minutes of tardiness.
